Welcome to Life with Hashimoto’s

I created Life with Hashimoto’s to share my story, recipes and connect with other who have an autoimmune disease. I love cooking delicious healthy food, talking health and wellness and teaching Pilates.

My Story

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease in 2017, after struggling with my health for a year. I was in so much pain I could barely walk, my fatigue was so bad I was a struggle to leave my bed, my hair was falling out and my skin was dry and covered in rashes.

After I received my diagnosis I thought my health would go back to normal but it didn’t. So I’ve spent the last few years learning more about how I can improve my diet and lifestyle to manage my Hashimoto’s symptoms.

  • Cooking and creating new recipes not only supports my health but it is also a creative outlet for me. It’s how I relax after a busy day.

  • I’m a qualified mat Pilates teacher. Pilates has been so helpful with my healing journey so I became a teacher so I can help others.
