Gluten free pizza (GF and DF)

Pizza has to be one of my favourite foods and I like to make my own using the gluten free pizza base from Deeks health foods. I’m yet to master making my own gluten free pizza bases so I’ll keep using these until I do. This pizza is topped with salami, onion, olives, mushrooms and lactose free cheese.

Controversial opinion but pineapple does belong on pizza 😉

Gluten free pizza

Ingredients

1 gluten free pizza base (I used the Deeks health foods pizza base)

2 tablespoons tomato paste

¼ teaspoon oregano

¼ teaspoon Italian herbs

4 slices of salami or a meat of your choice

¼ cup pitted kalamata olives

¼ red onion, thinly sliced

1 mushroom, thinly sliced

Lactose free cheese (measure with your heart)

Fresh basil, thinly sliced

 

Method

  1. Place the pizza base on an pizza tray.

  2. Combine the tomato paste, oregano and Italian herbs.

  3. Spread the tomato mixture evenly on the pizza base.

  4. Evenly place the salami, olives, red onion and mushrooms on the pizza.

  5. Sprinkle with the cheese and fresh basil.

  6. Bake until the base and toppings are cooked.

  7. Enjoy!
