Smoothie prep freezer bags (GF and DF)

I’m a big fan of prepping food ahead of time especially when I know I have a busy week. These smoothie prep bags are a great breakfast or snack option. Grab a smoothie bag out of your freezer add a liquid of your choice and blend!

Ingredients

3 cups fresh or frozen strawberries

3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

6 bananas

120g baby spinach

6 freezer bags (I use sugarcane bags)

Method

  1. Separate 6 freezer bags.

  2. In each bag add 20g baby spinach, 1 banana, ½ cup strawberries and ½ cup blueberries.

    Tip: break up the banana before freezing so it’s easier to blend.

  3. Tie up each bag and place it in the freezer.

  4. To make your smoothie, grab a smoothie bag from your freezer, add the ingredients to a blender with almond milk (or a milk of your choice), blend and enjoy!
