Coconut and fruit cacao bark (GF and DF)

This recipe is easy and quick to make.

Coconut and fruit cacao bark

Ingredients

½ cup raw cacao

¼ cup coconut oil

2 tablespoons

¼ cup dried fruit

1 tablespoon organic shredded coconut

Method

  1. Line a tray with baking paper

  2. Using a medium saucepan, fill ¼ way with water. Place on the stove and bring to the boil.

  3. Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat. Place a glass bowl on top of the saucepan making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water.

  4. Add the maple syrup and coconut oil to the glass bowl, stir until melted.

  5. Slowly add the cacao powder, stirring in a small amount in at a time.

  6. Once the ingredients are combined, spread the mixture on the baking tray. Sprinkle with the dried fruit and coconut.

  7. Place in the fridge to set.

  8. Break up and enjoy!
